Thank you for reading my blog.
I created this blog at the spur of the moment. I have always loved writing, and when I first heard about the concept of blogging many years back, I was instantly intrigued by the idea. Imagine! We can all write to our hearts contents, and publish our writing at the click of a button. Sounds like a super great idea to me.
So on and off I have created blogs. However, I have never managed to sustain them.
Over time, I have become a little better at managing myself. So when I started a blog again in 2014, I decided that I will persevere with my blog-writing. At the start of it, it was hard. But over time, it is getting a little easier. Still there are times when I will slack off a bit. :)
What do I blog about? I thought about deciding on one topic for my blog. However, as this blog is my hobby, I have decided to give myself total freedom in terms of what I want to write about.
After a while, there were central themes that emerged from my blog entries.
Firstly, motherhood. At this time of writing, my kids are still young – five and three years old. They are at their sweetest and most adorable age of their lives. How can I not write about them?
Secondly, tips about life. I am a busy working mum with a full time job. As a busy woman who has to juggle multiple priorities, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to become a better self. This blog chronicles my thoughts on achieving goals, being more adventurous, forming habits, perseverance and other stuff. Above all, I would like to be a happy person!
Thirdly, life! This crazy thing called Life that happens to you. Be it a bout of chicken pox (yes, I got my chicken pox only in my 30s), or just a simple run in the park. I also blog about my thoughts after reading a good book, or watching a great movie. Such is the littlest stuff that makes up life, no?
Last but not least, I blog about my adventures living in this tiny little miracle island called Singapore. I think my country is like a young lady, becoming more beautiful by the day. I hope it continues to flourish and become an even greater and more beautiful nation as the years go by.
I hope you have a great time reading my blog.
